On a rainy day in Honolulu (apologies for the loud rain in the first few minutes!), I sat down with Nancy Hancock Button, yoga teacher and co-owner of Complete Yoga Training. She chats with us about leading a recent yoga teacher training and the power of yoga to heal and transform.

Nancy is a self-described “nerd” which is why we are such good friends. 🤭

Because Nancy’s introduction to yoga was for traumatic healing she has studied under therapeutic yoga teachers learning in a wide array of lineages. She offers deep insights and practical practice techniques to her students in her classes and trainings. As well as being an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT 500) Nancy is also a Registered Children’s Yoga Teacher (RCYT) and keeps a lighthearted and playful tone to stay connected to sensations and new development.

Full Moon Gathering

As the full moon sets and begins it’s transformation to the darkness of the new moon, we can name the things in our own lives we are ready to release.

The moon in Sagittarius can point to a desire to release a tendency toward fatalistic thinking, letting go of all-or-nothing to allow for both/and. ☯️

We’ll meet just as the full moon dips herself into the Pacific. Option to dip your own luminous body or stay dry basking in the moonlight.
